Welcome to the SCUF Podcast, we talk about U.S. soccer. Hey everybody, welcome to the UNISMUSA Podcast. Just kidding, SCUF Podcast, my new review got Vincent Sanjay here, but the headliner today is who, who Sanjay? Cabin? Yeah, let's go, let's go there. Yeah, I was at the SCUF Bull on Saturday evening. Let's go. In Harrison, beautiful summer night, last home game for a while and it was a perfect evening to see a lot of prospects, so yeah, Cabin's goal was the exclamation point on Neopier looked physically imposing as well, he looked dominant, Audrey was good, Julian Hall going through a bit of a slump, it happens right now, still looks dynamic, but Bull's not going in, but yeah, overall it was, it was a game I think, I think Mauricio stayed up for that wherever he was, he didn't just rely on feedback, he wanted to watch that with his own two eyes, because yeah, that was maybe part of the reason he's back with us. I'd like to see him be out of Philadelphia, Union game, you know, Espanyol gets all the love. What about, what about Dupes, he stayed at Espanyol man, he was, he was there what two weeks ago, I want to say, one night when they kicked off the La Liga season, he was, yeah, in attendance. Yeah, shut out the, shut out the barbecue king man, the man with the plan, Mauricio Paschino, yeah, I do have to say, like this, you know, the match, the match delivered, Red Bull's filly, everybody showed up, showed out, you know, the ball did not go in for Julian Hall, I was quite impressed with Julian Hall's performance, that's probably one of the more impressive, yeah, bro, I mean, I don't pay to see tap in, you know what I'm saying, I'm not tuning into a match to see you just go since it's a penalty spot and have a ball miraculously placed on your in step to score a goal, no, no, no, no, no, and especially, you know, you talk about going forward, what he can be, all these different types of things, it's a very Julian Hall curious case, curious case, well, that's a skill too, right place, right time, right, right, but as the scuff discord is known to do, they have meticulously broken down his, his shot profile, his goal profile, et cetera, basically, this man has scored like some type of incredible amount of goals inside the six, which is like more than any, any like known striker of repute has ever scored inside the six, you know, I'm saying so, so obviously that leads you to believe there's a little bit of noise in there, a little bit of the same real, you know, I'm saying blah, blah, but to see him sustainably, be able to break free behind the Philly Black line, create danger, find chances for himself, even though he wasn't able to put one pass on Drake Blake, it was nice to see, and you know, he said, I mean, there's been multiple kind of golden chances, like everything's kind of balancing out now, like now it's like, okay, beginning of the season, he's just getting like one shot of game, it's a tap in, it's a goal. Everything's going as light, yeah. Yeah, everything's going as way, and now I mean, I remember, was that last game two games ago or something, he gets played in behind by Mehmedi, one on one, one if he wanted to keep her shot, went wide right, you know, so now he's starting to, he's starting to, starting to increase that chance of all you, and now I'm starting to see his, I'm starting to get a sense of the cut of his jib, you know what I'm saying, as a, as a player now, and even though the goals, even though the goals aren't going in, I'm impressed, I'm impressed with what he's doing. He's a dangerous player, he's got juice, yeah, it's interesting, you said like after the game, Michael Bradley was talking about, not just for him, but generally how the things go in the sport or life, like earlier this season, things were going Julian Allsway, there was a great vibe about the team early on, and now they haven't since the break they've struggled, but yeah, I think you still see Audrey playing well, there's so many different things to appreciate about his game. One thing I've noticed a lot lately is the way he received the ball and passed it with his weak foot too. It's really a joy to watch. It's interesting to see, you know, by now the whole league is aware of Audrey and the way the Red Bulls try to play through him, and I think they're struggling when Julian can score, they're struggling to find all the ways to make it happen, but when Audrey plays for the national team, I think there's plenty of other playmakers that can make things happen if he's not doing everything, right? I'm really excited to see him play with guys like Kevin, guys like, you know, feeding flow, feeding Tillman in advanced spots, hopefully. So yeah, and then with Philly, I mean, they're just, they're just on a roll with Richter. Yeah, we'll talk about Kevin. I think with Pierre though, just watching this is the second time I watch and play in person. The first time was when these two teams played last like a month ago. He is just so much bigger and more aggressive and physical and imposing than everybody else out there that I'm wondering what would be the point? In addition to what I've said about players probably not being released for the Olympics, so why even put them in U23 camps? Like, Pierre is such a man out there that I don't see, like at least have him trained with the senior team. At this point, I'm not saying he's the start against Mexico or whoever next month, but he's ready for it, in my opinion. And then yeah, Kevin obviously, Shocker, he's producing, who would have thought that we'd be here, you know, weeks before we get to a roster? He's, this is exciting because I feel like it is getting through to the mainstream American sports consciousness that there is this prodigy. And he has the personality and the swagger that people have been longing for in that superstar. So yeah, this is really exciting. Yeah, Kevin. Caves cooking, bro. He stamped at this point. I got a, well, me, I never had an agenda that gets Kevin Sullivan to be clear, to be clear, but, but you know, whatever hesitations I had about bringing him into camp or whatever, brother, you watch him in the MLS match and you watch him, you know, lead the Philadelphia union in their attack, you watch him bring the ball from defense to offense, you know, bring the ball to pitch, progress the ball for them, etc. All the responsibility that he's taking on, you know, he's not afraid of a single person out there. He got that swagger about him, you know, he, he knows he deserves to be out there. He knows he's better than the person that's marking him. And yeah, bro, it's just, it's, it's, it's all there. It's all there. A blind man could see, you know, what type of talent we're dealing with here. And now that he's producing and now he's, I mean, yeah, bro, it's, he didn't even celebrate that hard on his goal against the Red Bull. Yeah, you know, like he, that's a, I don't know if it's a certified banger, but that's a, that's a goal that's scored with authority, cutting in on his left foot, bringing it. I love the, I love the gentle way he caresses the ball down with his right foot on the long switch too. Just caresses it down into his path with his weak foot, croifs back into the, the, the space to his left and then just rifles it in. Got the business. Yeah. And then he didn't, he wasn't surprised. He just kind of jogs over to the corner flag and people mis teammates mob him. That was just a fun back and forth game. Philly's fun. They're, they're, they're a little, they're, they're, they are chaotic, but yeah, the Rebels go for it too. And it's great to see the kids just really express themselves as I say. But yeah, Kevin, I think if he's routinely getting the ball to his feet more from players like Audrey and, um, and you know, the rest of the core that the US has, like, I think it could be even more, we even more fun with the senior national team and the snippets we get in MLS. Does it feel like they will get caught up? I think so. I think Audrey and Kevin will. I hope Pierre will. I'm not sure about Hall. Hopefully there's room for him and Justin Ellis and more people. I mean, we've got you know, we'll have a roster episode soon, but we've got supposedly a U23 camp too. That's going to be like, you know, side by side with the senior team camp. That's what we've, we've heard, right? So, uh, who knows who's going to make the roster for the games, but, um, I mean, Audrey, Audrey and Kevin are stamped. Yeah, like, like, they're scuffed stamped and go ahead. That's not, I mean, just with that roster, you know, that's in case you wanted to bring in the old guard or whatever, you know, that we got some people struggling for fitness, whatever, a little fatigue from the world cup, long summer, etc. So, I mean, who knows if they're recovered by the time roster even needs to come out. So, I mean, that automatically gives you a couple spots. And then I mean, obviously, I don't think there's a number. There's a, there's a cap number on the, I mean, people we can bring to camp. But, uh, uh, we are going to need some spots field anyway, you know, for this camp. So, I mean, I would, I would think so. At this point, bro, it's time. Once again, I got to give my caveat about young people and giving them a full grown, grown man's workload, like immediately, like as soon as they're, as soon as they're kind of ready to play men's soccer, you know, it's not, soccer is different than like once you, once you start putting those miles on the legs, the miles are on the legs, brother. You know, I'm saying, if, if, if Kevin starts going now, don't, don't be surprised if he's not saying it's going to happen. But don't be surprised if like, we call them wash at 26 or whatever. Um, so I always like to like not start the clock as early as possible. But he might just be one of our best, uh, let me, but the thing is the clock started, the clock's already started, right? Because he's, because he's, it's not the miles you put in with the national team. It's the miles you put in with your club. Yeah, and they've, they've arguably held them back too. Like Bradley Carnell maybe waited too long to really, you know, unleashed. That's what everyone's saying now. That's the talk out of Philly. So, man, I get what you're saying, but we also can't be afraid to have our own, let me, let me name all. Not saying he is, but like, there, I get this sense from American people at it. Like the way we talk about some of these players, it's like, no one would, would actually emerge here that young because there's that hesitancy. But um, he's going to be washed too and in both seven years. Give it time, brother. Yeah. You start the, you hit the button on the watch. When you start playing the ball, it does not matter how young you are in soccer. I think we've seen this time and time again now. And that's just something that's in the, in the back of my mind. But even, even past that, it's not just that. It's just, is this young person's body ready for this work? Well, that's the main question. I mean, I've got confidence in sports science, but nevertheless, we've seen it with our own players already. Uh, we've seen it with, so, so Vince, you just mentioned it. And we'll just say it now. Like Christian saw us and played for Milan. Um, and Weston was, was out this weekend. He might be out for a little bit. So even if they are like, you know, quote unquote, fit by the time camp rolls around, it, it, it's very foreseeable that they'd be rested, right? Um, and maybe even with Tyler. I mean, we've kept, we've kept players at home for, for less, you know, I'm saying, like people that were actually healthy, making benches, maybe getting spot minutes or whatever, we've been like, Oh, let them integrate with the, with the squad or whatever. So really, I'm not expecting to see them. It's September at this point, unless we get some miraculous recovery. Yeah. Tyler came off the bench again. Uh, but I don't like, is this, uh, like there was a fitness thing, but there's also been transfer rumors. Like, I don't really know what's going on, but I'd be fine leaving him out too. And then at that point, you're, you're definitely looking at guys like, he's just as, you know, Audrey Kavan getting getting minutes, hopefully. I have an idea of what you just said, and I'm just going to ignore it. Uh, I'm just, uh, I'm just messing around, brother. Uh, are you? As the, as the broadcaster, uh, as the broadcaster on the, uh, you've a parmer game said about Western, by the way, Western resting in style, Western, resting in style and terrain, rest of the style, man. I mean, the, the eye and the sky, you gotta be, you gotta be on your piece of cues at all times. Um, it wasn't looking at any of the wrong places, you know, he was not looking at any of the wrong places, but he just so happened to be. Okay. Uh, for, for those that don't know, you, you've just played parmer this weekend, um, towards the end of this match, um, the camera pans up to the, to the boxes as sports broadcasts are want to do, you know, to get a pick of the, um, the, the, the infirmary, you know, the, the sick, the shutting up there in the top. Um, Western McKinney is one of those who did not dress as we just talked about for, for your ventures this weekend. And as it goes up there, because usually when you see these, when you see these shots, it's like three, four dudes together. You know, it's like, oh, there, there's Western McKinney, there's blah, blah, blah, there's blah, blah, blah. Yeah. Everybody together, you know, they kind of just, they got they fit on. Maybe, maybe, maybe there's one, maybe two significant others there, but they kind of locked into the match. Here, um, we find Western McKinney, um, sitting in a, on a chair, sofa, something behind two women. Okay. Two women. Very beautiful women. All right. I, I want to set you up to say that, Bills, uh, one, one, one, one, one blind, one brunette and, um, Western, he, he's locked in on a match, but he is, he is person away to where maybe he, I'm, I'm thinking maybe he's getting ready to eavesdrop on a conversation. That's something he's trying to find a way in. I think, I think he's trying to, he's trying to find a way. Oh, you don't think he was already in. You think he was trying to find his way in? Oh, he, he might have been, but I don't have enough. If he wasn't in, he was trying to find a way in. Oh, yeah. I'm saying he's perked up. He's like, you know, I'm watching his game very intently, but at the same time, you know, if there's any, you know, I, in any little, any little end where he could, you know, maybe they start talking about the game a little bit. Oh, you like, you like, okay, you know, usually I'm out there on that pitch. I hope he doesn't leave it like that brother. How you doing? Western McKinney, but the play by play dude, like when he comes, they show him, it's like, oh, Western McKinney. There's a Paul, there's a long pause for like 10 seconds. I would like to think the play by play dude has a smile on his own face. And then he says, I, he, he probably, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure he'd rather be on the pitch. And then the color dude says, are you, are you sure? You know, it's good stuff. Once again, I mean, in case for the people that have been following us for a long time, you know, it's been this ongoing saga of West McKinney being our, being our best and brightest on the soccer pitch, but also one of our hornies. And you know, almost everything we see with Western off the, off the field, man, he's a, he lives up, he lives up to the moniker, man, he lives up to his billing. As Airborne 69 once said in the tweet, he is the black maca root that you need on your team. And there was, I mean, if you can't be on the pitch, you're gonna get some of that maca root action going, man, up there on the, up there in the, in the box. So shout out to West. Yeah, man, I mean, I was, yeah, he's, he's not a, he's not stamped. Yeah, yeah, not going gently into that good night. You can never, fatigue, I mean, I mean, you know what's not fatigue, you know what I'm saying? Nope. Yeah. But elsewhere in Italy, so no West, no Christian, uh, well, Christian did dress, right? But no Christian. But, um, Eunice Moosa is looking pretty good, right? Started with Modrich this weekend or on Friday, rather against John Luka. And we'll get the John Luka, but Eunice, where this is, this is exciting, right? This is, uh, the biggest development so far in this, this, this club season. Yeah, so I tried to say at the beginning of the podcast, but, you know, you know, we had to go, we had to go to my last, I mean, you know, you pivoted on yourself, but, oh, before we pivot off that, my last, before we put that to bed, even Horrubath, uh, Ben said, yeah, like, I can't, he might cost them a playoff spot on his own. And I just like, I was watching that. And then I was just thinking about the keeper situation for our country in general. It's like, we're, we're going to go for the better part of a decade. Uh, look, maybe more without like having a keeper, like just shuffling through, like, this, this is crazy. Like, we, we, because we got one promise of product, um, on the horizon, you know, on the, on the literal horizon, you know, I'm saying, uh, uh, up there by the, by the Arctic Circle, but, but we'll get to that. Yeah. We will get to that before we get off either Horrubath, I, he, he's asked, and you know, who else is asked? Kay Cald. I, I'm sorry. I've, I've given him a shot. Every, every other stinks. The Rebels got to upgrade in a lot of spots. Uh, I brought the stinks. The, the, the kids are not the, like, even Justin Shay is solid, but around those, uh, young Americans, they, they got to, they got to add some quality. But, um, and, and, you know, it, it's, it's tough when you, when you stink and you don't got no swag to you, you know, I'm saying, like, Ethan Horrubath, like, it was, it was endearing when he was coming up big in the nation's league and we was like, look at this big awkward dude, you know, I'm saying, he's just, he just loved to save a pen. And, you know, I'm saying, but now, when, when, when you, when you look like you're gonna give up a holler and then you constantly do it over and then you'll sure be tucked in all tight and shit. Like, uh, come on man. Come on. I don't know if I got time for that. Not if I got time for it, man. It'd be different. Like, you can be asked if you got a little aura and might give you a little bit more time. But then, you know, let's move on, man. I'm, I'm being a little bit too mean to eat that shit. Shout out to Ethan Horrubath, man. Always a legend for what he did against, in Denver, against Mexico in 2021. But, but you and us moosa. Uh, no, no, before we move on from Ethan, though, I was gonna say, you know, you'd be careful. You'd be careful. You're talking about Christian pool of six wing man right there, you know. I like about CP's wing man. Anyway, yeah. You put them to do's and I, and I say in booth, the western mechanics and they, they, they would have left, you know, I'm saying. Yeah, they couldn't have, they couldn't have, they couldn't have withstood the pressure. We can't, we can't, we can't be, we can't be pictured. It'd be cowering in the, they're cowering in the back of the box. You know, you know, you know, the friend is always like, what a girl is it? Then the girl's confident is peace. Yeah. What happens to bro? How did, how did Christian get slender there? That's a, that's a crazy ricochet. Anyway, uh, Eunice to do matches in a row back in the midfield. All right. Uh, starting next to Jashari last match, we chopped and changed midfield a bit for this match. And guess, and guess who remains? Guess who's the mainstay in the AC Milan midfield? Eunice Moosa. You wouldn't have guessed it, but guess what? That's because you're not me, you know, I'm saying I've been sitting here waiting patiently for the Eunice Moosa Ramantata. Uh, uh, I thought it was going to happen last season. He went to Otsulanta. It didn't. People, and people used their time in between Eunice Moosa being up to stomp on his grave. They was telling me he was never good. Like, like, and you know, there is some merit to some of this as far as the fact that his European career has never looked like his, uh, US men's national team career. I mean, that, that is, that is just facts. But, you know, you forget the man has, I think, two seasons already in 2000 minutes for, or close to a thousand minutes for AC Milan. Um, you know, as a chopping change manager, you know, he fell out of favor one. But guess what? He's back. You know, I'm saying there's some players that never gave the favor of managers. You know, I'm saying. And so Eunice Moosa, and, and he's, he's doing, he didn't just stay in the lineup. By the way, he played the whole game, right? It's like they make subs. And, and he's still out there to see out. He's still out there, brother. The result. Progressing the ball at the pitch. Once again, nasty, nasty little one twos. You know, I'm saying there's one. There's one time early in the match, where the, where our ball is kind of past to him. It's kind of played behind him a little bit. He sticks out his, he sticks out his foot behind him, like, like traps it with the outside of his foot and just brings it down. Nice. I mean, this past has played hot time. And from like, five yards away, puts the foot behind him, boom, traps it, then gets it out right to, uh, to Chicoza. I want to say, look, now, now to be clear, there, there still is some, I don't know, there's some, there's some, there's some conservativeness with this, with this play. There's, uh, you know, he doesn't want to lose his spot. He doesn't want to lose his spot, right? He doesn't want to lose his spot. He was once again marked tightly in this match. This time by John Lucabusio, almost exclusively in this match, who was just like, you know, kind of in his shorts, while Milan was trying to build out. But yeah, Unis is picking his spots. I would like to see him develop, you know, they were talking in the, this court about, uh, dollar to nagby's press resistance, compared to Unis Moussa. Unis Moussa does not have dollar to nagby press resistance. And, you know, it's kind of been made clear over these first two matches where it's like, you know, he's been, he's been marked tight in the buildup. And, you know, Donald's in nagby. It's like, he can be running perpendicular to you while being a man marked. You can feed him the ball. He's going to trap with the outside of his foot. He might, he might turn you do whatever. Like he can receive it. Like anybody's shape, anybody, like it doesn't matter if he, if somebody's breathing on them, if they're in his shorts, whatever you know what I'm saying, he'll be able to do it. You know, this is not technically that as good as nagby. Yeah. Yeah. He's, it, Unis is not there. And he, he needs like maybe a little bit more space or whatever, just to kind of settle the ball and get to, and get to doing his thing. Bells is making a face. Bells give me a look. It's, you know, that's not a dig at Unis. I think nagby is like, how can we say, darling, that nagby is more technical than Unis when they, no, I don't know the levels that they played at in their entire careers are like almost, there's a difference. I'm not possible to compare. I'm not talking about like overall ability. I'm just talking about who's better technically. I think nagby is up there with, I don't know how many American men were better than him technically. Okay. I mean, it's the game is, the game is what happens with people around you and how, like with them putting pressure on you. And, uh, I'm not sure I'm not sure I'm tracking with that. Look. Okay. So once again, like I said, um, John Lucobusio was, was, was checking Unis Moussa. So this is, this is a nice little baseline. Okay. But what I'm saying is John Lucobusio could be checking darling to nagby and darling to nagby will be able to receive balls and positions where a Unis Moussa was not able to get a crack in necessarily. You know, when, when you, when you, when you even it out with John Lucobusio and not random, uh, you know, Giuseppe Verona or whoever the hell. We know, we know John Lucobusio. Okay. He's about, he's in all commodity. Um, okay. But, okay. But the moment the one player who is like mostly in your shorts is not, does not explain the whole situation that you're in when you're playing in Syria, you know, versus, there's also all the players covering. There's also, I mean, you, we talk, there's the MLS games where things are moving slow, brother, you know, and anyway, anyway, this beside the point is beside the point. But I just, I just think that nagby could in any situation not lose the ball. If that, if he was instructed to just retain possession, uh, I agree with Vince like in any situation you could receive the ball and be fine. Does he produce enough? Is he like, you know, does he do enough with the ball going forward going to gold? That's a different question. But, anyway, we get a whole, whole another part about nagby. My, my close friends, we've had debates about nagby because I've told them about nagby as being some legendary like could have been and, and they make fun of me for it because he just played in the MLS. But, um, Eunice, no, Eunice is, he, he's doing what he's supposed to do for Emmerim. And, uh, it looks like he's going to keep his spot. And I think it's setting up really well for, uh, again, going, going into roster talk here. Like, I'd like to see Audrey playing with Eunice, kind of the way Majed was holding for, for Eunice. I'd like to see Eunice with a little bit more freedom. And then Tillman is, is a nominally a half space guy, but he's basically like a third midfielder. That's what I like to see, uh, soon. Not to be, not to beat a dead horse though, but how, how much, how much did we miss a player like Eunice, uh, in that, in that Belgium game? I mean, yeah, imagine him just taking the ball once, turning and running with it and putting them on their heels, like, what that would have done. Yeah, but, but guess what? Everyone else is too nervous and he can just do that. Like, the, the BBQ King never put, he has played zero minutes in the midfielder for the US minutes. Hashtag. He's got to know. Uh, I don't know John Luke. I don't think John Luke will, uh, my opinion of him hasn't changed much. I don't rate him. Um, I don't quite know what position he is. Obviously, he's a decent enough player. Uh, you know, I got to respect what he's done with Venizia. Um, we're in the arm in now in Serie A, but, um, I mean, that's pretty cool. Let me get. Yeah. Yeah. He's a technically decent player and, and, you know, physically, he, he, he looks more up for it, but I just don't know where he fits with the US and what exactly he brings the table. I got some time for John Luke, man. I have to say, I've been, I've been impressed. I mean, you know, I've been on John Luke's ass since the very beginning. You know, he's, he was the start of the whole, the whole lineman jog bit, you know, uh, at times on this. Right. At times on this podcast, I've called him John Luke a Boudille, etc. But these, these first two matches, bro, I have to say, like, Sanjay, you just said it physically, he's looking a lot better. He's looking a lot better. Yeah. We're like, we're lineman jogging on more lineman jogging on more. He's handling it. He is, uh, the pitch control is much better. He's handling the space. I mean, you had a, in the air, in the air, he's looking like a young western McKinney. The way he's jumping out here, bro, it's like, I'll jump you in his moves a few times. I mean, like, really getting up into the air. So like, this is like a different do we talking about? And then like, on the ball, stuff is, it's looking good as well, man. Like, I have to say, I don't, I don't see it. I don't think it's enough. But I like to see him with a better team. That's like, what, one thing I'll give him, like, I think there, there's, there may be his potential there. But I like to see him on a team where he has the ball, he has the ball more. So I don't think there's Vanessa teams bad either, by the way. I mean, you know, he, he completed like 100 passes in the first match. So I mean, they, they, they, I think they got a little something. They got some athleticism on the flanks. You know, brothers up top, you know what I'm saying? There's, there's no, there's no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no Yeah, I mean, I'm keen on auditions for that role because I'm not banking on Tyler being a starter in four years So it's Audrey whether it's Lucy, yeah, that's that's a that's an injury. That's a physical thing That's that's not because of his quality that I get shaded way too much on here But now like I'm not slamming the door on John Luke. I just like from the time he was breaking out with Casey Like I never rated him and I still I'm not I'm not there on him. I understand A John Luca two things a John Luca Renaissance would be incredible for my brand personally and then two Brothers up top That's a great t-shirt idea. You could do like you could you could like you could like put the flags of all the nations that have that you know like France Well, there's a lot in Africa I'm trying to think what else America, you know, USA is you know, it's just you know, we got some yeah sure We got some we got some for sure We got we got key brother up top. Mm-hmm I don't know just a thought just a thought for the merch store Um, let's take a break real quick. We'll come back talk about Malik and you know a lot of other stuff We're back in a moment and we're back Malik Tillman versus Cole Camel and the Bundesliga Hmm Uh, first of all Elvarsberg first ever match in the top flight Um, that's cool Town seemed like it was ready to go Elvarsberg is down just for just you know for the geography folks out there It's down there like in the little corner of Germany, but sort of between Luxembourg and France Uh Sarbroukin Uh, I need to see the spelling S-A-A-R-B-R-U-C-K-E Sarbroukin Sarbroukin That's where we were on Saturday Uh, lever cues and came to town it looked like the lever cues of Ultras had no problems Getting down to Sarbroukin Um, they were there The Elvarsberg faithful were ready to go um You know what? Cole Campbell was unleashed on them boys, man It was um, he was unleashed Cole Campbell, the young stunner in case you don't know The face of black America, Cole Campbell is If you don't, if you don't, if you if you weren't listening to when this whole thing happened There was a report from a German sports tabloid essentially I'm using tabloid loosely Basically, we don't know how true this report was or was not But Cole Campbell, young American He Was what he had a he had a Louis Vuitton bag, man Mm-hmm He was with Dortmund and it was reported that You know, he kind of fell out with Dortmund because he was too flashy You know, we talked about Marbella on their trip to Marbella apparently he got on the he got on the bus with a With a designer bag on and that in that put couple officials off which is once again just Really blows my mind a slap in the face to black America basically and then I mean and All the Americans should be offended by this The black American park came later when I when I really dug into Cole's background But also, you know, another thing that put off Dortmund officials was that he allegedly This is a well-off fellow Mr. Cole Campbell and his family He was pulling up to Training in a Porsche or something like that you 19 training, I believe you 19 training in a port I mean, you know, it's a big parking lot out there You know whoever whoever's noticing this is hey You know, I mean, there's a lot of spots to park a car But anyway, so because of that And basically he's he's offended all of my American sensibilities and then when I looked into Cole Campbell's background The reason why I called him face of black America's because I know exactly where he got this This pension pension his sensibility to stunt You know, I'm saying Cole Campbell's a man who spent a lot of his time in Houston And then when he left Houston went to Atlanta All right, the two capitals have at least I've thought about this a lot the two capitals have at least the African-American South I was gonna say African-Americans of the black United States of black America the two capitals Atlanta and Houston, but I don't want to leave out New York City. I don't want to leave out L.A Um, you know, obviously, they're known for other things But you know, we can I just to offend as little people as possible. I'll say the capital of Black Southern America, you know, where we are most densely most densely populated. So therefore probably the two most important African-American cities In the country and so some of that Some of that rubbed off on young Cole Campbell and it's a long way to say here we here we find ourselves in Elvarsburg Where I'm assuming they they they accepted his ways they accepted his ways It's that go Campbell come on down and they have unleashed him on lever cues, you know, I'm saying to start off the season Uh, first of all, he scored a he scored a goal in this match Okay, all right. He was very bright very involved as you know, Elvarsburg being a newly promoted team from the from the swight of Bundesliga um They they looked to counter fast anytime they recover possession And Cole Campbell he was playing left wing at this match. They found him streaking down the left early and often whenever they recover possession They were looking for this man really intentional on getting the ball to him um That there was one like lane fill early in the match with somebody's carrying the ball down the middle He's streaking on the left Gets a little square pass catches it with his with his right foot really caught the ball stung a shot at the keeper that was saved Um, not very long after the goal came Uh, it was a smart bit of pressing for mr. Cole Campbell um, he picked off a pass and went one v1 Got a step and stun the ball once again with his left foot this time The keeper got a little fingertip to it But it was not strong enough to keep it out it bouncing to the goal Cole Campbell had a stunted knee slide You know, you know what the one of those ones that don't fully come off like you know your your knees kind of create a divot Yeah, understood he was hype But yeah, he was he was alive while they entire match bro. They they found him Often bro, I mean like you know They might be pinned back in the in the air In their defensive third defending their butts off get the ball back boom Cole Campbell out that ball and you know We didn't get to see like we didn't get to see it alive for dormant but in the few minutes I had watched You could the speed was evident and the fact that he just wasn't He didn't seem like just a speed merchant to me because he has a yes a little bit Ball control a little start stop ability. He's not just going a hundred miles an hour All that wants to until he crashes into something, you know, he he seemed like he had a little ability to manipulate the ball and all that and I just wanted to see it And it looks like over burgers and it's gonna let us see it, you know, I did not I was not tapped into the what was that a U20 World Cup did they play there Cole play when he was like he was only Match fit right for that so yeah, so I wasn't tapped in for that. I know he did not ball out in that U20 World Cup necessarily but This is a this is a good first performance man and before I See the mic um notice That Elvis Burr play lever cues and I did not notice I did not mention Malik Tillman and that's because Malik Tillman was having one of those Malik Tillman matches There was a CBS sports.com article written by Chuck Booth About Elvis Burr in their in their rise and their investment in Cole Campbell and we have this quote about Cole Cole was our record signing which probably shows how much we believe in Cole He's a fantastic player. He's very fast. He's very strong with the ball He's very strong in one-on-one situations. This is a I don't know who's saying this. There's somebody in the Westfield Westfield Um and to be honest, I spent quite some time with him now and he's a very good kid a very good character We just want him to go into one-on-one situations and solve spaces for us and we are very sure that he will have a breakout season That's type of confidence you want from your club Into a player and I mean the technical that they're technical director. You're so good Well smooth uh Westmulla well to tune in then to Fandango right? You know, I was so confused going on ESPN plus and then I was like wait a second Yeah, then boys on in boys on Fandango allegedly. I mean, I watch on peacock Me too Spanish broadcast on peacock. I'm not I'm not down low on fan day go bro. Oh, yeah I'm sorry Yeah, bro. It's crazy like I feel like we're maybe like three or four years away from maybe soccer access in the in this country going back to Where it was In like the early 2010s. You're doing the the belief. Yeah, probably So yeah Shut out cold man Elvesberg is gonna is gonna is gonna is gonna keep rolling as long as cold as healthy I guess um in the team the team look all right. I mean what once again uh Some brothers out top Brothers up top including cold Campbell man put put put Elvesberg on a shirt Put Elvesberg on a shirt. We got blood. We got brothers on top. That's what I mean Like one of those front three spots for he's like he's a gold dangerous player, right? I mean Yes, but touch line demon like like he's a he's a goal. I mean he's a he's more of a Touch line demon than I mean, I mean with look we don't know what he is first of all Uh, he's just now starting to play you know uh first division soccer and uh So we'll we'll figure that out, but he seems to profile to me more as a withholder Good him goes though On the left side. There's pain Miller coming up, but it like it's not looking great. So this is this is very good news Yeah All right, Gozo didn't look too good in the half. Well, you want to know? No, no go ahead go ahead to go Gozo didn't look too good in the half space for palace No, I mean he was he was fine. He was not like Like the like the game was it like they were gonna lose the game He's coming in. He's getting run out like it's nothing to read into. Yeah, okay. Okay. All right. Let's move to But but but the result is the result. You know what I'm saying? I mean of course there's nothing to read into Is it this man city, you know, I'm saying, but you did see like some of the uh like some of the reasons why I just didn't want him in the pocket, man It's just like Wait, and this is early into the match. It's his first minutes. I understand all the caveat all the caveats but it's like he receives the ball receives the turns Doesn't feel somebody coming up behind him to poke the ball away You know, there's kind of awareness things We'll see if he improves on it Um, I guess he's I guess he's in there now. He's a crystal palace player somebody who we can expect to come on and get 25 minutes or whatever for the rest of the season. So I expect this to improve to improve, I guess, but I will Kind of be dubious of this deployment of him until He proves me wrong, I guess you know who's immaculate in the pocket. Oh Now hold on is this a segue? Darling to nagby Oh, no, no uh The crown prince Giovanni Reina Who was slandered for a full cycle and scored a Trevella in the opening game the World Cup from Announces you know, we was up 31 Yeah, well that that goal was big for goal differential to like To be clear actually, I guess that that's time the time it was big for aesthetics. It was big for aesthetics That was big for momentum. That was big for momentum The way that that game ended and in Posh running to the corner and everything that was Those are scenes, man Um, he did help grab the Belgium game Under control for like 10 minutes. I'm still at no shots But before well before mistakes cost yeah before Matt frees Shot us in the you know what um So yeah, I feel like geo is Is Casually kind of ridden off going into this cycle like what we've talked about fairly like You know, we're not planning the future around him. He's not in the He's not in the models, you know when you when you're modeling the future for this team um, but I mean he he starts uh And he looks pretty good home debut Um, Vince, what'd you say? I mean you gotta be excited about this too Yeah Yeah, I'm excited. I mean as excited as I can be which you know my my my excitement for Giovanni Rainer has a governor on it And it will not be removed um until I can see his MRI scans, uh, cascane You know all the x-ray, you know, I'm saying if you send that to me on the jump drive and let me get my team on it And hold on hold on a second. I you know, I just got it my in MRI on my knee. I couldn't tell I don't think that doctor could tell anything from it He was just like he was like scrolling back and forth. Yeah, it looks like a partial tour Partially torn blah blah blah. What are you what are you talking about? What's the point of this five million dollar machine Anyway, no for bro bro. They wouldn't I I got my uh when I got I got hurt fresh me your uh fresh me your college um second-to-last game as somebody rolled up into my knee um And I got my MRI done all this stuff And they told me I had a OCD lesion in my knee which allegedly is like some type of hole or something that It like a hole in the bone or something that becomes worse over use or something like that and so they were like yeah I mean, this is this is a pretty crazy prognosis um And then and then you know the surgery happens they got into my knee is like I you don't got that man. You just have some tour carly He's out tour carly. Yeah, I got the distinct sense that Nobody has a clue what they're seeing with this MRI. But anyway I also have a governor on my excitement for georena um, but he's only he's only 23 He's on 23 And you know what he look good. He look good Strasbourg home opener. I guess loss um He went 76 minutes. All right 76 minutes. I think he kind of you kind of tell it off in the definitely tell it off in the second half But the first half was eventful. I mean Had a shot in the very first minute um with his head That ricocheted back to him. He settled it for his teammate For him to have a curling shot from about 16 yards out when just wide In the 34th minute Caught a ball at another goalscording opportunity caught a ball off the volley. This is from a set piece Kind of got headed around and then it came out in geos geos vicinity um call the ball the volley stung it It threw traffic basically right at the keeper. I mean, that's the only Way to keep her would have had a chance to save this just because of that amount of traffic and the way geo caught it caught it sweetly Um, I was nice to see. I mean, and then right after that he comes deep in his own half on the along the left touch line Uh, I think Tries to draw foul and I think maybe the the do from launch thought he committed a foul as well because I everybody kind of stopped But anyway, whistle doesn't blow. He gets up plays a little one-two as soon as he receiving the ball back from a one-two skips pass another dude The strawsburg crowd was on their feet. You can hear the oh You know they were going Geo then there was another dude that wanted a pass played to him. Geo kind of shoves him out the waves like brown carrying this I'm carrying this down the pitch And kind of moses down and then plays it to His teammate who kind of crossed it in but that was good stuff And then also had a nice cross for a good headed chance late in the first half as well And there were there were other things that I did not mention in this recap as well. There will be in clip notes I mean, there were a couple more like little mazy dribbles from Geo some attempted through balls and stuff It looked lively I have to say I'll give it to him and and I think this is important They not has confirmed to really play much defense. He's not like a midfielder that for real Yeah, I mean, he kind of is oh my god. He can't run. He can't run. What do we do? Where's he gonna play? He can't run. Give me a break Yeah, I look brother You you you son. Jay. Son. Jay. He was just pretty just praised him for five minutes No, no, no, that's not directed at you. That's that's that's at the the naysayers at the NPCs. He's saying yeah, but uh but I'll be he uh Who are you thinking of when you with this chip on your shoulder about Geo right now like who is the who is the person? No, no comment. You know you're you're You're listening to this and you know you're I mean, you know, it's I know no all seriousness. It's it's everyone. It's like It's it's Like like in any category of people listening this podcast is I would venture to say it's majority of people It's you it's you it's you dear listener. It's all of you. No, no, no This reminds me of uh When we were in Harrison was New Jersey as a matter of fact Don't name names. Don't don't have people on here. Don't don't don't have people. I don't want to go there But but yeah, you that's that's what I'm talking about There was some problem as soccer journalist going back and forth for Sanjay You this was when um, I think it's all the above. You don't have to name anyone specifically just assume anyone who's a fan He's whatever Like and listen like there's there's obviously been reasons to doubt uh Geo But his talent is is supreme His talent wins at the end of the day uh Like if if can you imagine one's what Audrey Mamedi and and cabin And a fit geo rena playing together and maybe milleaks out there too. It maybe's on the bench. I don't really care. By the way um Because now you're making me want to do a journalist ball-nower's ranking and start with like number one being the one who knows it the least Let's not go there, but the the journalist non ball-nower's No, no, no, look, look, look, I get wide Like everyone had every reason to be skeptical about geo but but just you know geo at 60 70 percent Which it would just kind of events. What would you say this was in this game? This is geo at 80 percent of Before like this is 80 percent, right? 80 percent of of what though like what we talk about of what he could have done What he couldn't I mean 60 brother. I mean come on. All right 70 seven. Well, I'll get you a little to meet halfway 70 so Even that you put that together with you know some of these technical Savants like yeah, yeah, she's just really in players coming up and then you have enough industry around them I mean I mean Kevin can't mix it up. Kevin can scrap Audrey is Audrey can scrap Audrey is Like stretching for both like diving for balls sliding like like Audrey He's don't don't let people do what they did to McLean don't let them do that to Audrey because That that you know, no, I mean that missed representation of his game just because he's he's a genius with the ball He can't play defense or has no effort nonsense But but geo like I'll I'll can see like yeah, like he actually even if he's not run a whole lot Um, you get him out there with some of those guys The sky there's no there's no limit up for this team. There's no ceiling for this team For the US position for for the World Cup. Yes, or Copa America, whatever If you're in as fit and you have some of these other Savants as you said like what are you going to call them? Uh, you know All right Like we would cook it's a hypothetical until further notice, but we would cook in a way we never cook before Yeah, I mean, I do want to make the point that maybe you know, we've seen these EF national teams and how they've been playing here lately and um You know how like how this basically how they look a little bit more accomplished At playing possession base soccer than maybe our senior team does at times it does seem like that is trickling its way towards the The Miss national team to have I mean a level of uh technical competency That I don't know. Maybe we haven't seen before maybe maybe you want to strike the balance right between athleticism and and running Like everyone saw the stabs in the summer and everyone knew what our strengths were but like as you try and push towards more football Um Yeah, you want to find the balance and I think I think we can pretty soon Got to control the ball so you don't run as much maybe Uh, that is the truth. Can we get back to the non ball-nores ranking real quick? Go ahead. It was number one. No, I'm just kidding. I just wanted to say the only person who hates it when I bring that kind of stuff up more than you Sanjay is um Was walkie. He would eat this like It just drove him crazy when I would do that. So anyway Um, well go ahead. I'm not here to slander my friends, but I'll tell him to their face Yeah Yeah, it was see it was heated in that in that lobby, man. It was Uh, it's a good time. Yeah, and then Travella at the World Cup opener nine months later front runner, but um That to the point I was making that they don't they're not required in the play lot defense kind of running a little 442 He's up front in that 442 and you know, he made a little he made a little something happened to get a little overzealous foul I think he won the ball off a guy one time in the press. So I mean, you know, he's not going to do too much, but but to be clear And this is probably a good thing now. He is not um responsible for controlling Like parts of the pitch as a part of A midfield line. Yeah, you know, and At this point, that's so he's probably where he needs to be. He's pressing in a two or something or yeah Pressing in a two he can do it half-horned. I mean, bro, it was always like that was where that was the rest of you with him or McGlin It's not rocket science like you defend two lines of four And let one of them hang out with it with the striker like it's not a glint thing Not crazy to how to hide no any insert any attacking player who you can't run that much because you know Made you love that you you're acting like McGlin's career has actually been affected by the discourse around him From the non-volume Norris Brigade I mean, I'm definitely the minority on that one too, but but I love I love Jack too No, you get I but never argued for him to be a starter by the way I'm not saying that for Geo, but Geo off the bench if you have the metty and moosa and then Tillman is one of the Half-space guys and Geo coming off the bench for Tillman. That's a good situation Uh Okay, let's move on Good job. I'm excited about Geo You VV Parma all right. You VV Parma real quick Been hot Kramaski. Obviously we talked about West's exploits up in that box shout to him, but um Mr No more we need to find out more Mr. Kramaski got on the pitch all right We're in the number eight for Parma and actually playing in the midfield which he did not last season Before his season was cut short by whatever injury it was that he had But uh he's back Parma bought him officially and yeah, he came on the pitch played about 30 minutes. Wait. He came he came in and be six 50 nice minute 61 minutes. I'm not yet, but Either way Um as soon as you came on the pitch Uh, I'm gonna say he was pretty responsible for you VV's first goal um Niko Gonzalez found a find a little pocket to shoot in Been hot pretty close to him tries to do the tries to block it, you know puts his arm behind his back Tilted to short us towards towards the ball or whatever does not get a piece of ball Uh, Niko rips his shot it goes off the crossbar I mean the post excuse me the post It's the post so hard that it comes all the way back out To where Niko took the shot at about 25 yards from goal. So if you can picture this Niko took the shot it if Kamaski's playing defense facing his goal, right? He took the shot to Ben Haas left And the ball ricochets and bounces back to Ben Haas right And Niko still beats him to the ball like like Benji probably just it's like a little give and go with the post Essentially, and so he catches that ball shoot it a second time deflects and goes in you would like to see a little bit better pitch control from from From Ben Ha there Other than that it was pretty Unremarkable. He had a little tidy sequence of the one two with this teammate. Kada. He was the backboard Released K then the zone 14 for a little cut back that was cut out Other than that I mean, I mean, there really wasn't much really wasn't much going on. I don't think completed a forward pass but He's playing playing in the midfield for parva and It's good news. Let's move to European competition Tender Testament in Leone got knocked out of you champions league qualifying by Fedor Bacce 3-2 on aggregate What do you think Sanjay? I thought he was decent in this game. He came off in the 76th minute when they were down 2-1 I like him Actually, I really don't know what I still don't know what his long-term positional future is like where in the midfield he fits in because like he does nice stuff higher up the pitch like when they have like someone else anchoring But then like he bailed his shaking his head like now you what you want him to send him to Clemson Let's go with they need a kicker No, no, I've got I believe in 10 men. Uh, I know. No, I'm just joking. He's a good. He's obviously a good footballer. Is he uh like Is he going to make the next world cup after missing this one if he said I think so. I mean competition will be good but um, we should say that he didn't play this weekend uh Because of you know financial Issues there's there's a chance you can be sold right like that that wouldn't be it's probably highly likely They'll be sold. I mean, Leon kind of got it. They have to do like a fire sale basically Like not get into the Champions League um Raise the amount that they need to raise in this transfer window by 25 million They needed to make 25 million in sales Before they they this was assuming they made the Champions League and then By not making a Champions League that added another 25 million That they cut because they're in dire financial straits for whatever reason It's been going off for like 34 seasons. I don't really know what's going on But so they're talking about they got a self-alphana They got a sell They got a self-identestment um I think there's other people looking at they're looking at selling to But that those two are like probably the ones that like have to go um, so It is do we have a rumor on him? Is there any Saria I haven't I haven't seen any rumors but but any any Saria club that uh Got a little bit of money throw around and I would assume that they don't throw that money around I mean, you know, he's even after he left you know he came to Leon It's always been like little round ones like, you know, a little a little fear and Tina here a little I'm just making up a cup of sasswolo there That's a lot of will on point right? Yeah, they they they let a boy over in it Leon Leon's the club that used to be owned by John Texter the guy with the cowboy hat Yeah, I'm not sure if Tessman is That you know deepest midfielder for the US or if he's Slightly more advanced, you know in that double pivot um, I think he'll be back in camp soon Unless, you know, he does get sold and he's accommating wherever else so so we'll see But um disappointed that he's not in the champions league at least not as right now um The Celtic boys definitely will not be in the champions league Uh This this was uh an epic meltdown. This is actually Knowing if we played mudder or not a week later I would have mudded both of them for this because like this is your ticket, right? If you're put if you're going to sell dig your plan is calling Like this is what you're you're there for is for champions league nights and um credit to last credit to Sam and Dennyron Emily's veteran with the with a brace including the game winner You also at the cross the barm regulation and had a pen save when you could advise the game The second half extra time George bello 120 George bello nearly Blue this like for them for good like like Celtic went up Uh one nil like 20 minutes in and then bello had a bad giveaway. They're almost made it to nil Um, not long after that and this this could be a totally different game if they're down to nil batterly, but uh Celtic collapse I mean, you know, if you're if you're going to collapse might as well do it to a team of uh two Americans uh They they might not be uh National team viable. I mean I mean send like like Sam and Dennyron. I mean you talked about him being an mls veteran um He was asked at every stop in mls uh also he became I became aware of him because this man was playing in the usl championship And if you've seen Sam a Dennyron like he's like six three six four like athletic You know, we played him in the I think he was a San Antonio. We played him in the ship His last time little city with the championship and uh we got busted And he was a big part of why and I was like bro, just do like The hell is he doing in the usl? Like come on come on for like uh Anyway, so nice to see that he's doing he's doing something at last Uh people gonna ask for like some call-ups. I mean, you know, he didn't go crazy in the in the in the austria in the austrian Boonus like the last season, you know, I'm saying so I mean let let Put some numbers up there At least 30 goals, you know, yeah, yeah, how the goal though first goal. Yeah, yeah, so some nice goals I'm not I'm not here to take anything away from the man um Big-time performance from him and uh enjoy the championship Someone who will not be playing in European competition, but helped his team get there. Rokis pukes us heroic Final game farewell game for hide explicit um Gets the goal to get them into the conference league and then get say Move worth reportedly 5 million euros He's one of the bros. It smells bruh He's gonna the championship uh where we're happy for him, you know, he had bad luck in the past not getting I move out of Croatia, but finally, you know, we'll be watching him Um more another guy going to the championship. Oh, Luca Bombino Real quick, but before we get to Bombino shut out Luca Bombino, but um, you know people have been invested in and pukes us for a while now and I mean, I'm gonna be tapped in They have a middle's bro, but I just remember him getting a spot taken by Daniel Edelman and uh But they would die you 20 group So I mean, I mean, yeah, I assume he's growing a lot as a player. I mean, I was like what four years ago at this point For four three four years ago a lifetime ago So, you know, you know, it it it it is what it is, but uh Yeah, I I mean, I guess I'll see what he's got He looks like a dynamic player, but I've heard people Say you can't really pass the ball So we'll see I mean when he has the ball at his feet and he's like running around he he does look like an interesting guy Obviously scores goals. Seems like he scores a lot of goals with his head too. Yep. Yep Which is kind of cool um Yeah, Bombino headed the championship to uh He's gonna stoke. We'll see if he can do it on a For anyone's day night after you know San Diego son era um Good luck to him uh ballo to Everton Uh, man rumour uh, this holdout is going, you know, we're we can close September here Going right up to deadline day um We were excited about the bars of river They they they sound somebody right they sound a striker Well, they're trying to get Julian Alvarez, right? I don't know if it's it's It's happened yet. I can't keep up with the transfer stuff, but uh ballo would have been great. They're they're lost your loss Catalonia um Christian Christian maybe to talk like we'll we'll know when we know we'll find out when we find out about ballo Christian Pulisic to Tottenham is also uh Still being banded about they they've like asked about him. I think but uh key sticking point is whether they also sign Ethan Horbath I think that's enough for this weekend They've inquired, but like he's not going to move, right? We'd be surprised Hold on real quick. I do Well one more one more player. Just real quick uh digga coach All right playing for playing in the Dana superliga For lingby, you know, they play the team called ob this weekend um Obstetricians they uh They they drew one one uh, I watched I watched his his film there. Diego had First of all To be clear lingby does not like play out of the bag whatsoever. So the amount of like Getting a feel for Howard have his feet are or whatever that that's just not gonna happen. I don't think Or or or or maybe ob is just that good to where they look don't don't give me the line. All right about the Dana superliga But what I will say I think Diego had like seven saves Um, there were at least two of the impressive variety Okay, and um, you know, I mean he looks it looks like an explosive fella Like just seeing like there was one strong to his left. I think one I mean one strong to his to his right hand and I think one down to his left that he got to and Once again, I'm not a goalkeeping expert But I do he does seem to be like technically sound like when the anticipating shot coming he gets his feet going um You know and he looks like he looks like a good shot good shot stopper. I mean there were some Yeah, I mean there was there were some impressive saves made and Seeing that and seeing the way he kind of kind of exploded off his spot To to get to those balls. I was like, oh, okay Might be a might be a little something. I mean obviously his potential has been talked about for I don't know three four years now Um, he's now finally getting a shot in uh I don't know first division soccer Uh, to be the to be the number one and so Yeah, we'll see we'll see, but I was uh Maybe light at the end of the tunnel of this uh long American goalkeeping nightmare Yeah, we don't really you don't really talk about keepers on here, but uh We got to figure that out that might be its own is an impod the the keeping man, I have to say I do hate um What's happened to mafrees because Because like I don't know like that So basically now everybody hates them You know, it's like when you have one of those When you have one of those hyalur's like that is just gonna stick in the mind of Especially casuals. It's like ah What the hell are we doing with this dude out there blah blah, you know, whatever and um That could that could happen with More than one keeper in our pool uh, the US was gonna lose that game anyway. I mean I mean Well come on now It's not a game. We weren't necessarily gonna lose that game. We were down to one at the time. No, no, that's true 30 more minutes for Geo to really We were looking pretty good. I mean, we're looking pretty good before that start that half yet I mean look look reams got to do better on the on the Like that that play was It's not fair for everybody to hate somebody over once mistaken a sports game, but that is just how it works Yeah, look at Chris Wanderlowski It's just I just be I mean, I want to think is it's kind of like a chance But like I'm just like every once in a while. I'm just like damn bro like like I would Like you know during the World Cup Matt Freese is like I've taken mental pictures of all these moments And I know exactly when we have our reunion when I'm gonna bring up to the boys like these moments That we've made together all this stuff. I mean, you know My boy was just happy to be there and now he's and now he's like When I'm one of the goats in a the reunion is gonna be him and surge, you know Just two of them That was that was not for I'm not like like That they they had a shocker Like every player had a bad game like they were not meant to win that game So why people are trying to you know Pile on For like like from the from the minute that game started when they had a chance right away the ball flashed across the goal It was like oh shit. We're playing a real team here. Yes, yes But you know all these things coach. You know all these things go. I mean, it just it just is what it is Like you can claw your way back into well, you also that yeah Um, he can't claw his way back in maybe he could I mean It him mafrees itself. I don't know if you're referring to that but no, I'm referring to that game I think you can claw your way back in if you even if you look completely undone from the opening whistle Exactly possible to Fight your way back in but anyway go ahead Vince from personal perspective mr. mafrees Maybe can claw his way back in as well to I mean gain Respect back in the eyes of the American people I just hate that cut because That mistake It just seems like something that Like to the sign jace point that a lot of people would do like you know, it's like like a I don't know. I don't know. It was just it's pretty bad guys. No, it was pretty bad. I'm not saying it's not bad Oh god, I'm just saying it's a fleeting moment in time I'm on record is saying like gun to my head I would have went with Turner because of experience, but like uh a mistake with Turner's feet is Almost guaranteed that that could have happened like like I don't think frees is like the incumbent right now. I think he's very much up in the air, but To like try to push him out altogether also it doesn't make sense We got to figure it out We also got to go Thanks everybody for listening if you want to skip all the ads Join the patreon link is in the show notes Uh, you also get the clip notes that Vince referenced earlier and they they come It's like there's more than one a week sometimes.
