Coppa Italia Final 2026

What is the Coppa Italia?
Italy's Oldest Cup Competition
First held in 1922, the Coppa Italia is now in its 79th edition. It is Italy's equivalent of the FA Cup — a knockout tournament open to Serie A and lower-division clubs. Juventus hold the record with 14 titles.
Big Clubs Enter at Round of 16
Serie A's top clubs — Inter, Juventus, AC Milan, Napoli — enter in the Round of 16, meaning they only face five matches to reach the final. Lower-division clubs must survive the early rounds first, creating giant-killing opportunities.
Olimpico Tradition Since 1973
The Stadio Olimpico in Rome has hosted every Coppa Italia final since 1973, making it one of the most consistent venues in European football. Its 70,000+ capacity creates an electric atmosphere — especially in a Roma or Lazio final.
