In fact, three of the next four games for these two teams are against each other. So this is the first meeting in a series of sorts. So a bit of a... See, Americanization is a sport again, Graham. Well, it's going to say like an MLS round one playoff series, but between Barcelona and Adlet Coma Dreads. And Adleti, they've been fun recently. I think adding Adam O'Lukman to the left side has changed their dynamic a little bit. Not the day was something only has really changed his approach as such. It's just that having another proper attacker on the field, I think, has made a big difference. And there's so many little subplots to this fixture as well. Like Barcelona's reported interest in Julian Alvarez and how apparently he's their dream number nine signing this summer. It seems almost nailed on. They're going to go for a number nine. And Alvarez is the guy that they want, according to the Spanish press. And this is also the first game that Antoine Griezmann has played since it was confirmed he's joining Orlando City this summer. So this is the start of his long farewell that will conclude with a Copa Del Rey final against his former club. Real Sociedad Adlet Coma Dreads are still in the Champions League. They're up against another obvious former club. So it's almost like it was written to be this way for Antoine Griezmann. So he'll play his first game since that announcement. And then for Barcelona, they're obviously looking to move another three points closer to the title. They are four points clear of Real Madrid at the top of La Liga right now. But Real Madrid played in New York before them on Saturday. So that gap could be one point by the time they kick off. Andrews have been a bit of a problem for Barcelona recently. They'll be without Franky the young. Just Kunde is still working his way back to fitness as well. That this should be a banger of a game. Yeah. And the good news is that we get to watch it two more times after this. Actually, I'm very excited. When the when the Rana 16 games came through, we were starting to figure out who was going to be against two. The Letty Barça series I think is going to be so much fun and that we get a little bonus one this weekend. Matters a lot and I'm very, very excited about this. A couple of things that I wanted to say. The first is I have only learned literally just now in real time that Hansi Flick's real name is not Hansi. It's Hans Dieter Flick because obviously no one names their child Hansi. You name them Hans and then you call them Hansi. But I'd never put that together before. That's new information. I think if we called Hans Flick, Hans Flick, he wouldn't play the high line. I think he'd play a low block. So that's my thought on that matter. Less fun. Yeah, much less fun. Hansi's got that whimsical, tactical side to him. Let's play the high line. Let's see what happens. As far as the Alvarez stuff, Graham, I had not seen that. If I was a Barcelona fan, I would be ecstatic about that being a possibility. I mean, the only Avarez is an absolutely amazing player. We haven't seen him a lot as a lone striker at club level. Though we certainly saw some of it at Man City. But he's so flexible and so able to combine and play the style of Barcelona want. It also just works really hard and is good at basically everything. He would immediately skyrocket. I think, if we gave it six months, I think he would skyrocket at the top of the Athletic Teparsa pipeline well ahead of the last most expensive one of these that ever happened in Antoine Griezmann. I think that move would absolutely rock. The German tendency to put an eye on the end of names like that, Joe, like Hansi, is it similar to like in English where you do a Banksy or Jonesy or something like that? It's a kind of a interesting thing. You see, Clint's called Clintsy and Adolf. Not by me, not by you, but Jonathan Clintsy, maybe on the World Cup roster, we'll see. But Adolf is Addy and Addy Dasler, that kind of thing. That's another reason for that one. Yeah, I can't think of any other reason to change Adolf to something else. Yeah, maybe, maybe a riot. Well, that fun, though. Yeah, we're looking forward to this one, Graham. I think we're going to do it at my Orca this weekend as well. Yes, there could be a chance that Athlete help out their city rivals in the title race here as well. That will be the main motivation, of course, what we're helping Real Madrid win the title. I expect so. I expect so. And when you say Athlete, let's go, let's go, but you're doing more fun. Do you mean relative to Athlete, go, Madrid or relative to the soccer? I mean, kind of both, to be honest, as I say, they haven't really changed the, it's not like semi-only overnight, it has become a hands-deter flick or like Pep Guardiola. He's still doing semi-only stuff. He just has another, to kind of repeat my point, just has another top-level attacker on the field. Because previously on the left side, that would be, I mean, who were Athlete playing on the left side? Like Alex Biena was playing on the left side. It would maybe be like a wingback on the left side as well. And now they've just got like a full-on forward who joins that front two and all of a sudden that's a front three. So I think Luke Minn, well, he's kind of blown individually hot and cold, like he's been great in some games and then slightly more anonymous in others. He just changes the dynamic of that front line and go back through Athlete, since he's signed, I don't have them in front of me. But go back through their results and like, they're scoring goals for fun, which is not something you're narrowly associated with a Diego semi-only team and it was actually something they were struggling with in the first half of the season. So I think this one could be quite high scoring. I think there'll be a lot of goals in the Champions League title as well. Excellent stuff. That game, Athlete vs. Barcelona is on Saturday at 3pm Eastern on ESPN, select Max Plus, etc. So what are you looking forward to? I'm looking forward to us pouring one out for daft punk stadium. Do you guys remember daft punk stadium into Miami's home? That is until Saturday. Hang on. Today, what's that going to be now? Is it just going to bring me back to sort of a overgrown field? Dirt lot. Yeah. I believe into Miami's MLS next pro team is going to play there, but I don't really know all the details of what that's what I had heard. I'm not 100% sure about that. But they're opening the new stadium, the cousin of the camp news. What's a cool thing? It's called News Stadium. Right. News stadiums called News Stadium. This is apparently new is some fintech company that has sponsored this news stadium. This is the first time that we're ever going to see into Miami play at a real legitimate non pop-up soccer stadium as a Phoenix resident. I understand what the pop-up soccer stadium life is like. This is, I think it looks really good. The stadium that they put together. I sent a link in the Slack and I was curious what you guys thought of it as well. It sort of has that, I think it is being a very European soccer stadium roof to it that's like oval with the hole in the middle. I don't know exactly how to describe this, but I'm going to show it to you this time. I see it as Joe. That's the version. I mean, to me, the roof is the best bit about the Olympic stadium. So yes, I actually get that comparison you're making there right, but thankfully the stands are much, much closer than they are at the top. Yeah, you can't run a marathon around the inside there. Yeah, it looks, I mean, it looks really nice. I think the capacity is 26,700. This is the first game between Into Miami and Austin and FC on Saturday at 730 PM Eastern time. It sounds like it's still not quite done. I guess in another camp, camp new nod, but it is perfectly workable. It sounds like, I mean, I don't know exactly how it's going to handle 26,700 people, but there's some cool things about this. One is that this is the culmination of a really long process that Miami's been. I mean, they tried 20, they looked at 20 plus different stadium sites, Beckham and then eventually the Moss brothers come on board. They finally get this thing done, and we're seeing this happen in a few other markets and MLS as well. We're Chicago and New York City are both going to open soccer specific stadiums in their actual cities, coming up in the next few years, and we're seeing real progress made on that front in Major League Soccer, and that's still a huge, huge advertisement, I think, for the league when it comes to attracting players and even for creating good TV audiences and reasons to watch on TV and then also in-person stuff as well. That's one side of all of this. And then you have the fact that Into Miami are actually a really, really interesting team right now that's going to be playing at this stadium where we don't know exactly what we're going to get out of this bunch of players. They dropped out a conca-caf already, which was their biggest goal of the season. So guess got to find some new momentum to go out and look for. I don't think Avi Martiano knows his best 11. Right now Austin are very much eager to look to play spoiler where Niko Astevez just changed their tactical setup in the last game. He doesn't really know exactly the best way to set up his team right now either. So two teams that are question marks Miami, of course, favored by a country mile in this game when they're clearly the better team. Not that it couldn't swing Austin's way, this is MLS after all. A cool, a cool bit of all this is as fans go to watch these teams play. I saw that Into Miami is giving everybody who takes public transport to this game a $10 food and beverage credit at the, at the first match, which is a lie because it'll take so long. Yeah. It's a trick because it's actually no public transport. Yeah. You're going to be walking. No, I've never been to Miami really. And so I don't know the area well at all. So, so people who are local, you can tell me how I'm off about this. But apparently a huge part of, of the infrastructure built around the stadium and there's a whole like billion dollar development plan that's not done yet. So there's going to be dust and construction and all that stuff still going on around the stadium for probably years now, which is not ideal. But it does seem like they have worked on the infrastructure around the stadium to connect it to public transport. I don't know what the walk is from the public transportation drop off to the stadium. But anybody who does that on at least on this opening game is going to get some free stuff. Which I think is kind of cool. Like I love public transport, which we had much more of it and the non gigantic American cities as a Phoenix resident once again, I long for that. So I love that Miami are doing this and the stadium once again looks really cool. So I'm going to be turning into this game to see it. The stadium does look cool. The thing I like about it is its single tier. So with the exception of the, I guess like the main stand, which they have to accommodate, I guess, hospitality, sweets and boxes, they are. The other three stand are single tier, so it's all the way up and actually that makes it quite different to as much as I like the other new MLS stadiums. But they are, they do kind of follow a similar, certainly with the bowl of the stadium inside. They're all quite similar. So like lore.com field or whatever it's called these days, I didn't realize until recently that's got a new name. Yeah, it's like a grass thing now or something like it's like green groan. Scotty. Miracle grow field. Thank you. Yeah, there it is. What I name that is. Anyway, Columbus's new stadium, like Cincinnati, LAFC, like in terms of the bowl, it's all quite similar. This looks different. I actually think it looks quite South American in terms of the way that like it's a single tier all the way up. So I think in terms of the atmosphere of that, it's going to be, that's going to be really exciting. I love that. It looks fantastic. I've flown in and out of Miami a few times in the last few months and it's quite visible on the sort of descent into the airport and it looks fantastic. So I'm looking forward to seeing this and eventually going to a game there one day. I think if this looks like to me, if you asked AI to smoosh together the West Ham Stadium and Juventus Stadium, I think this is what it will provide. Like the colorway is very Juventus, like aliens stadium. I think. Yeah, but it looks, it looks awesome. The Crypto Bros and Manusphere influences down there in Miami. You're going to love this stadium for their team. Very good. Indeed. All right. There's one other game I would like to preview here. The pick for me is in the FA Cup. There are eight teams remaining. And I think it's safe to say the top two teams remaining in the FA Cup at the quarter final stage. Our Manchester City and Liverpool, they're going to play at 745 AM Eastern on Saturday morning. Obviously Manchester City of already won silverware this season. They're going to, they could, I think, what might be regarded as a pretty disappointing season for Manchester City could end up having two domestic trophies. That's not too bad, I think, for them. They've also done the league double over Liverpool this season. They pretty easily beat them when they came to the etihad back in November as well. City are in pretty good home form as well. I think they've won their last 17 in the Cup at home. They've won five of their last seven at home in all competitions as well. But you've got a Liverpool side who this is kind of arguably the last zone of dice. They're in the Champions League with paracensaments and let's say that cup competitions are their last sort of salvage to get something from this season because they're falling behind in Champions League qualification a little bit. They're in fifth in the Premier League at the moment. They're very much within grasp of getting Champions League qualification. And perhaps that is the, the onus is on that for Arnestlop rather than the FA Cup arguably. But this is an Arnestlop team who've lost three of their previous four matches in all comps, losing to Brighton, Galatasaray and Wolves in that run. So if you look at it on paper, it's a man city pummeling that might be ahead for Liverpool. But I also think these are two teams who are going to set up an absolutely go for it in this game. That's my theory because Pep really wants to win it to get another trophy for the season as I say to get two domestic trophies I think would be very important for them. And I don't see why Arnestlop wouldn't really go hard in this. Yes, they probably should prioritize the Champions League campaign and the league campaign, but for a little bit. So besides those two reasons, now I'm talking myself out of it. But I feel like there's a good reason for a slots team to set up to try and make a go of this game. So I'm intrigued. I feel like this could be a bit of a thriller which I've given the kiss of death by giving it that suggestion. Crabby with me at all. No, I totally agree. I just don't think either of these two teams right now have a great degree of control. But even if they wanted to control this game, I don't think sitting in Liverpool could this season. And Liverpool in particular at the moment, their form is so difficult to read where they're swinging wildly between good performances and bad performances. I mean, I'll look at their last few games. Their last game before the international break, they lost two one away to Brighton. I was a dreadful performance. The game before that was four now at Home to Galatasaray, which we spoke about. And I think maybe I called their best performance of the season so far. Game before that was the one one draw against Spurs where they were terrible. Game before that was the one they'll defeat to Galatasaray where I said they were a little bit unfortunate to lose that game. Game before that was 3-1-1 over Wolves. Game before that was a loss to Wolves, which just encapsulates the way things have been going for Liverpool right now. Man City don't quite have the same volatility in their form, but they're not far off. Like their last game was that impressive 2-0-1 over Arsenal in the Caribbean Cup final. Before that, we had the two games against Real Madrid, which they were very poor in. I mean, understandably so, Real Madrid are a top team. The sandwich in between those two games, you have the draw away to West Ham at the camp old. Is that what we're calling West Ham? Stay down now if this is the new stadium. The camp now we're calling. The camp tax pay off ended. We're calling. Yeah, exactly. They can't give me my money, but I'm Horace Johnson. So I just have all this is to say, I have no idea what to expect from this match, but it feels like goals and excitement as a pretty decent bit. Yeah, I feel the same way. So I think this is definitely one to watch if you're up early on Saturday morning. I did not mention the timing of the inter Miami game, by the way, at 7.30 Eastern on Saturday night. Is it every, are all Emirates teams playing Saturday? I think, is that right? They're all on the... Yes, all the games run Saturday this week. I did not know that. That's fun, isn't it? I hope Billy brings some turnout, though we haven't had much to be excited about. I might see you there, Ryan. You won't. I'll be at the beach, Gritty, but you enjoy that one. I like Gritty, though, knows his audience very well with this particular prediction. I like this a lot because if a Charlotte game is happening, Ryan Bailey is going to talk about it on the show. So 100% guarantee that we were going to cover it in one form or another. However brief, I mean, Gritty is right on the money there with this talk about, you know, Philly haven't had a lot to celebrate so far this year. There are the only pointless team in Major League Soccer right now, which is not ideal. They've been down in the Conquer Cap Champions Cup as well. I still think Philly are going to be decent this year, and I'm clock sticking on me being proven right, Union. So let's let's whip that in the shape. I think Kevin's old and it's still very, very much a reason to watch this union team. There's still some very high quality young talent and then Charlotte on that side of things. I'm waiting for them to show out in a full performance against 11 men. I think the Charlotte team has the bones of a good team that could make a deep run in the postseason. But I think that consistency is still not clicked in for them. So I'm curious to see what they can put together in this game as well. As am I, Joseph, I'll be watching from coastal Carolina shores at 7 30 PM Eastern on Saturday night. Shreys is looking forward to watching Chicago take on Nashville. Also, on Saturday night, as all games are in Major League Soccer this weekend, yeah, that one's at 8 30 Eastern. I think in terms of quality, it's between this game and San Jose San Diego that are probably the two best games to watch. Nashville are just shredding right now. They've absolutely phenomenal. They are looking like the team that we all thought they would be when they added Cristiano Spinoza. Chicago haven't quite clicked in the same way and they've had a bunch of injury struggles early in the season. So that's really hurt them. So we haven't seen the best of Chicago, but I really like a lot of the new pieces that they added and I think they're still going to be a very good team when all of a sudden done. So this is going to be a high quality game between two teams that have interesting tactical ideas. This one's high on my list. Love it. Callin' Kay is also looking forward to the full slate of soccer on Saturday and MLS. If I had to pick one game, says Callin' outside of my beloved yet quite poop timbers, almost right out of nowhere. I am looking most forward to San Jose versus San Diego. Two teams with star power and a strong start to the MLS season. Plus some California Rivey. Rivey. San, San Derby. The San Derby. San versus Saint. I don't know. There's got to be something there. This is Rivey's side, but we publish like a US Open Cup recap story after every round it back-yield. And I get to learn about all of the lower division rivalry names that I've never heard of before. I think it's the one between Hartford and Rhode Island. That's El Clamico, because Clams, like there's just some good stuff out there. So we got to get a good one for the San Diego San Jose one. This is the other game I just mentioned. San Diego are a must-watch team for me every week because they play dazzlingly entertaining soccer and San Jose have been a very, very serious team. Yeah, Cal and I think you're on the right spot on that if you're looking for a little reprieve from watching your timbers play. Do you know how many miles there are between the two stadiums of these two teams? I know this is just the way it is in MLS, but when we're talking about rivalries, there's 460 miles. Oh, wow. That's more than I would have guessed. Not that much more though. I was going to say 300. That's an 8-hour drive one way. So 60-nose returns. Drive.
