Endrick
Endrick Felipe Moreira de Sousa joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2024 at just 18 years old — the fulfilment of a promise made to him years before. The Brazilian striker, youngest ever to score for the senior national team, is at the beginning of what many believe will be one of football's great careers.
Endrick Felipe Moreira de Sousa is the name on every scout's lips, every pundit's shortlist and every transfer prediction for the next decade. Born in Brasília on July 21, 2006, he became the youngest goalscorer in Palmeiras history before his 17th birthday. When Real Madrid agreed his transfer in June 2022 — with Endrick still a teenager — it signalled to the world that this was no ordinary prospect. This was a generational talent.
Endrick's style is defined by directness, explosive power and an ability to score with either foot or in the air. He does not possess Vinicius Jr's balletic dribbling or Rodrygo's cerebral movement — he is a more primal force, a battering-ram forward who plays on instinct and raw physical gifts. His hold-up play gives him a physical maturity that belies his age, allowing him to function even when not fully integrated into a team's system. Real Madrid's style demands patience and tactical maturity from young players, and Endrick is learning at the feet of the very best.
For Brazil, Endrick represents the future. He has already scored for the senior national team and is a key part of the squad's planning for the 2026 World Cup on home soil across the USA, Canada and Mexico. If his development continues on its current trajectory, Endrick will arrive at that tournament as one of the most devastating strikers in world football — still just 19 years old.
Career Timeline
Palmeiras Prodigy
Endrick joined Palmeiras at age 10 and rose through one of Brazil's finest academies. By 2022, at just 16, he was making his first-team debut. His performances — explosive, physical and technically advanced — drew comparisons to the great Brazilian strikers of history.
Real Madrid Dream Fulfilled
In June 2024, Endrick signed for Real Madrid — a move agreed two years earlier. Joining the Bernabéu project at 18 placed him in an elite environment alongside world champions. His debut season is about development, learning and gradually increasing responsibility.
Brazil & World Cup 2026
Endrick became the youngest player to score for Brazil's senior national team — a record that underlined his exceptional potential. The 2026 World Cup in the Americas is his defining opportunity: a teenager on the biggest stage in world football, playing for the most famous national team.
